Spider Found in Telchac Puerto

Holy fuck

You guys don't seem too concerned about the fact that you have a giant alien in a freakin jar. What is wrong with you!!! Run for the hills!

Seeing as how the diameter of the spider is greater than the diameter of the jar top, how the heck did you get it in the jar?

WTF?? I guess my relocation plans are on hold until those things are taken care of...I mean dead!! Seriously , are those common there? And I can't wait to hear the answer to Daniel's question.

Mother of God.

if you think i'm ever staying at your house...think again.

sweet hair cut though?

Good find! Spider is the caviar of Cambodia:

"On a good day, I can sell between 100 and 200 spiders," said Tum Neang, a 28-year-old spider-seller who supports her entire family by hawking the creepy-crawlies, deep fried in garlic and salt, to the people who flock to Skuon for a juicy morsel.

EWWWW!!! I got the heebie-jeebies just lookin' at the picture, I can't imagine actually catching it!

So nice to see your guys cute faces again, it's been too long! Jills, I never thought that I would see you with such a big smile on your face near to such a creature.

Found your site while looking for info on Merida, and I cant stop laughing! You guys are hilarious - great writing!!!

So tell us how you cooked it up already. Did you wrap it in seaweed and sticky rice? That's what I would have done.

Matt was the closest. Holy fucking shit! I don't think I'd have the never to hold the jar.

I sent you a PM at MI regarding Dean. I don't want to post my personal stuff here, but you all are invited to weather the storm at our place in Merida. This invite does NOT include the spider!

Theresa

I was just coming to see how you're going to weather Dean. Since we're going to take the hit for Mexico (well, the Cat 5 hit; Tampico will take the Cat 3 hit) I'm hoping you can send your abaniles over here as we're expecting pure rubble when we get back. We're headed to Chetumal tomorrow to wait Dean out.

Stay safe!! And take some amazing pictures (though it will be middle of the night when it crosses the peninsula)

Saludos de Xalapa,

Here's a link to a photo of one of the same I unearthed while gardening in Merida.
