Jills’ Plucky Pineapple Monkey Bar Cake

This easy recipe is sure to delight the ladies at your next bridge club meeting…

In a 9 x 13″ cake pan melt a stick of unsalted butter and sprinkle a cup of dark brown sugar evenly over the bottom.
Alternate slices of pineapple and banana in one layer, not overlapping.
Mix your favorite yellow cake batter, pour over fruit and bake at 350 degrees, approximately 45 minutes.
Let cake cool for 5 minutes then flip onto platter and serve with tea and milk.
