Shoo Shoo Mexican Flu

So I’m sick, but not in the way people who don’t live here expect you to get sick when you travel to Mexico. I don’t have any stomach trouble, just some kind of crazy fever and chills. Also, it hurts my head to move my eyes. I’m not sure what happened…we got back from immigration yesterday morning, and I immediately fell into bed and took a three hour nap. Things aren’t much improved today, though I am taking some kind of medicine that is making me feel better in spite of my not knowing its contents.

Needless to say, we are cancelling our house viewing for tonight, but will be looking at a bunch more places this coming Saturday. I am hoping Jillian will continue with updating duties, as I am pretty much down for the count for right now. I’m sure it’s just a combination of new bacteria, dehydration, and exhaustion…we have been going pretty hard for the last few months, and I think my body is just demanding a break. Don’t worry about me…I’ll be back in the saddle soon.

    Love you.

  3. I got some hideous flu when I was visiting Equador in H.S. The local cure was to rub a guinea pig over my body until it was dead and basically a furry meat pouch.

    I declined.

    Feel better soon!!

  4. What’s happening is that your body is rejecting the euphoria-blockers that living in NYC has instilled in you. It should pass after a few tacos and a margarita on the beach.
