The Truth About Mexico!

National Lampoon Launches DVD Club

Man, the one thing that has been a neverending thirst for us since moving to Mexico has been unbelievably stupid, comforting, reassuring movies. I am now not only the proud owner of not just “Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle,” but ALSO well worn copies of “The Fast and the Furious” and “13 Going on 30.” I know, I know. But believe it or not, some of the nicest movies to watch when the rest of your world is upside down are the ones that you accidentally caught on cable years ago.

That’s why I’m interested in the recently launched National Lampoon DVD Club, to keep me in constant supply of “movies I will watch while drinking tequila.” They are hand-picking comedies which may not have received the attention or distribution they deserved during their initial release, all for less than $5 bucks a DVD, which beats even the low prices I have been paying on Amazon Marketplace. With a 30 day free trial, I will be giving them a shot.

  1. I completely approve of all the movies in your video library. And I have a Masters in Film Studies. You dont need nothing else. Except for maybe Mean Girls.

  2. Ah, but I *DO* have Mean Girls. Burned copy, but still.
