M: Don’t you think it’s weird that my dad’s electric bill gets such a bigger subsidy from the government than ours does? I mean, does CFE honestly think that Telchac Puerto is a poorer town than Chelem?

Your subsidy goes down with consumption. If your dad uses less electricity he gets a better subsidy. It makes sense if you look at it from a Mexican standpoint. If you use less luz it’s because you have less stuff that consumes electricity therefore you must be economically disadvantaged so you need a bigger subsidy.

TIM…..now I know, that’s the little bast*rd that’s been bringing all of these seemingly simple processes to a snails pace. I guess I have to relinquish my usual excuse of heat stroke:)
