A Night Off

You would think that at the Altabrisa Mall where everyone is so busy being fancy and consumerish I could have a break from being gawked at. I know I have retardedly blond hair right now…but other than that I am doing my best to be inconspicuous and blend. And while I wasn’t wearing high heels or a pound of makeup I looked nice but not on display and was just quietly shopping for disposable sunglasses and hair products. So why can’t I just be left alone to enjoy some solitary strolling? I had a nice night, browsing, reading in the VIP lounge before the movie started, feeling scandalous for ordering a rum shot to splash into my grande Coca Zero, relishing the footage of the Museum of Natural History: it’s so much  better than therapy. And while I do want to travel and live around the world I will always feel like having breaks back home where I can do my thing without it being seen as some kind of pageant or production.
